Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash-Morgan is an actor and a member of the SSC's board since 2011, is the Co-Artistic Director Founding of the recently formed theater firm Speech of Fire. She served as Artistic director of Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 through the year 2019. As the Artistic Director for SSC she was also SSC's costume designer, producer music director, composer and coach for text. Although she was usually the head of her group, her first directing role was with SSC King Lear. Markie Post......................Markie Post is a noted American actress known for her roles as the public defender Christine Sullivan in NBC's sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels in ABC's drama series The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBS's sitcom Hearts Afire. She has worked in a variety of other shows besides acting. She is the daughter of poet Marylee Post and scientist Richard F. Post she was raised along with two children at Walnut Creek. She studied at Las Lomas High School where she played cheerleading. She briefly attended Pomona College and graduated from Lewis & Clark College in Oregon. Post was married prior the wedding to Stephen Knox. She has been married since 1982 to Michael A. Ross, an actor and writer, with whom she has two daughters. Post is a wonderful actress, an ideal spouse and mother, as well as she is a role model to many Hollywood celebrities.
